Lottie ate hummingbird cake (her Peaches' recipe). She did not pay too much attention to the cupcake loaded with icing, even when her MomMom and Aunt Diana tried to encourage her to eat some!

Five years of marriage. Lottie's first view of the ocean. Celebration! Everything is alive and new when seen through the eyes of your eight month old baby girl. I am so thankful to God for our marriage, our family and the memories of our joyous first vacation together.

May 2010

On May 9, 2010, Charlotte Ann Hubbard was dedicated to God at church. It was such a happy day! Of course, little Lottie did make a spectacle of herself. She tried to pull the peace lillies apart in front of the entire church. She threw MomMom's bracelet on the floor and it broke, so each tiny bead was strewn on the floor. She fussed and squirmed. We just LOVE her sooo much! This reminds me that five years ago in May, Taylor and I took our vows standing in the same place. Here's a photo of Charlotte, my precious grandmother, on that day, May 29, 2005. I just know she enjoyed her view from heaven, watching Lottie try to pick flowers during her dedication to God. I pray that Lottie Ann will grow up knowing and loving Christ. I am sure that many important events in Lottie's life will continue to happen in the Lord's house. I had a perfect mother's day full of flowers from Peaches, Grandad and Taylor, a wonderful day at church, and even some gardening with Pap and Meg. ahhh! Pinch me! I love you, God!

First Bath

On Friday, October 23, Charlotte had her first tub bath! She loved every minute, and even had time for a photo with a big smile. Of course no bath is complete without some snuggling in her duckie towel!

An Angel is Born.

On September 27, 2009 at 12:53 a.m., Charlotte Ann Hubbard was born in Lexington, Kentucky. She weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces, and was 21 3/4 inches long. We are so blessed to have a sweet and healthy little baby!
